Think Pink! Walking for my MOM!
Dear family and friends, On November 14-16 I will be participating in the 3-Day 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer! This will be my 3rd year as a walker and the most meaningful one yet!!! I am walking to honor and support MY MOM! Earlier this year my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Because she has always been so diligent about having regular exams the cancer was caught in the very early stages! Today my mom is having a lumpectomy to remove the cancer. She has always set a great example of understanding the importance of having regular exams and because of this it may have saved her life! I am proud do this years walk in honor and support of her! I have committed to raising $2,200.00 to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Nation Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.
