Hot Air Balloon Classic
It was a fun night in Gilbert as we headed to the Arizona Hot Air Balloon Classic. We missed the afternoon launch of the hot air balloons, but made it in plenty of time for the kids to go down the bounce slide, the spinning apple, the human hamster wheel balls, and Jake couldn't get enough of the zipline! There were food vendors everywhere so we enjoyed some yummy funnel cakes and pizza while listing to a live band play! It was super fun to have Aunt Nellie with us too! This is the first time we have had her to ourselves since she got home from her mission in October. Around 7PM it was time for the hot air balloons (Who had arrived back from their afternoon of flying) to "GLOW" for the crowd. There were 8 balloons and they would all light up and glow. They were AWESOME! We go to be so close to them that we could lean on the baskets to look up inside the balloon as they lit the fire into it and feel the warmth from it.
