4 Years Ago Today
I am grateful for my daughter everyday of my life, but it seems to even more so on January 20th of each year... it was 4 years ago today that Jacy and I underwent fetal surgery to repair her the Spina Bifida lesion while I was still pregnant with her. During the surgery she weighed a whopping 1lb. 14 oz. She was born 8 weeks later and has since grown into the most beautiful little girl who has brought so much joy and laughter into my life. My heart sinks when I remember the medical advice that was given to us. I am so thankful that we didn't follow the advice, because look at what I would have missed out on! I am so thankful for the support and love we received from our family and friends, especially those who made sacrifices to stay with me in California as my "support person" so that I never had to be alone.
