Roosevelt Lake 2006

Image
This past week was our annual trip to Roosevelt Lake. We rent houses in the SRP housing facilities near the dam. We spent the week with Grandpa John and Grandma Linda and the entire Richardson family! The only person we missed this year was my sister Jennifer, who is currently serving a church mission in Salt Lake City. Just down a short trail from the houses is a private little cove where we park our boat, jet skis and water toys. We have such a blast spending the days waterskiing, tubing, and swimming. The evenings are just as fun, playing Bocci Ball (lawn bowling)! This was Jacy's 2nd year at Roosevelt, but the first year she was able to enjoy the water-and she did! She got a new bikini and her own little life vest for going out in the boat. This year we also brought an inflatable pool for the kids to play in, in the backyard (The trail to the water is steep and rocky, not easy with kids) and they LOVED it! Jacy also got her finger and toe nails painted for the first time! All ...

Weekend in Show Low

After leaving the lake we headed to Grandma Debby and Grandpa Zeke's house in Show Low. The weather was beautiful!!! We even got a little rain. Great-Grandpa Pardner and Great-Grandma Greta are staying at their cabin in Pinetop-Lakeside for the summer, so we got to spend some time with them too. On Saturday afternoon we set up the play pool in the front yard and Jacy had a blast. It was VERY cold, but she didn't care! Grandma Debby saved the toy shopping cart that Santa Clause brought to me when I was a little girl, and Jacy had a great time pushing it around her living room. On Friday June 30th Jay and I celebrated our 5 YEAR wedding anniversary! We took a couple of minutes Sunday morning to go back to the Ellsworth's Ranch where we were married. Jacy had a great time playing in the creek with her daddy!
