Sledding in the SNOW!

Image
This past Sunday we had a FAMILY DAY filled with fun! Jacy had never played in snow before so we decided to take a little road trip and spend the day at our family's cabin in Christopher Creek, AZ. There wasn't as much snow as we were hoping for, but just enough for what we needed. We brought Jay's boogie board, which worked as the perfect little sled for Jacy . She had a blast sledding down a little hill next to the cabin. She was absolutely fearless! Her squeals and giggles as she came speeding down the hill was priceless! We ended our trip with a walk down to the creek. It was so beautiful!!! With our busy schedules we don't have a lot of time together as a family these days. This was the perfect little getaway for us!

He is such a cutie and we all love him so much!!! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. This week was my first week back to work, which was hard! Jacy is a big help to Jen, who watches them for me. I know that he is in good hands!

Christmas 2007

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! It started on the Saturday prior to Christmas. To put a fun spin on things the Richardson family (Only missing Jonathan's family) met at the mall. We all split up and had 1 hour to buy a gift for $25.00. Then we came home and had a gift exchange that included the opportunity to steal someone elses gift. It was a lot of fun!!! Christmas morning was different than we expected. This was the first year that Jacy started to understand about Santa and Christmas in general. Jacy walk into the living room to find her Woody (Toy Story) doll and stocking from Santa and lots of gifts under the tree. Her entire wish list included "Barbies, Cars, Trucks, and a pink motorcycle". She got several Barbies and cars and trucks that she can share with Jake. Her Daddy was sure to complete her list with a pink camo 4-wheeler. We didn't get the reaction that we were expecting/hoping for because she was still half asleep when she walked into the l...

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2007

Dear Family and Friends, It is hard to believe that 2007 is already coming to an end. This has been a good year for our family, full of wonderful memories and many blessings. The biggest blessing and most exciting part of our year was the arrival of our little boy Jake on Oct. 2nd. He has been the perfect addition to our family! He is a very sweet baby and has stolen all our hearts, especially his big sisters! Jacy has been a busy girl this year. She is growing up so fast with the celebration of her 2nd birthday! She has been in gymnastics all year and has just recently started a dance class. She loves to twirl! She had 1 surgery, 3 visits to the ER with 1 ride in an ambulance and countless dr. appointments throughout the year. She handled them all like a pro-as usual! She is a very polite little girl and shows so much love for her new little brother. We couldn’t be more proud of her and the beautiful little girl she has become. Jay has been working hard as a Lineman Apprentice for SRP...

100% Cavity Free!

Image
Jacy had her 1st dentist appointment this week! She did great! She saw Dr. Jared Welch, who is actually a childhood friend of mine. We are lucky enough to have his practice not very far from us. We were excited to hear that Jacy did not have any cavities!!! She loves to brush her teeth and seems to be doing a great job at it!

Jake is 2 months old!

It is going by too fast! Jake just turned 2 months old! At his check-up he weighed in at 10lbs. 11oz. and is now 22 1/2 inches long. He is a very sweet baby! He is becoming more alert and getting pretty good at holding his head up. In the past 2 days I have noticed him smiling more and starting to grab for things. He loves his big sister, gives her the biggest smiles, and is managing to survive all her hugs and kisses. She loves to hold him. She is so caring towards him. He has beautiful dark blue eyes and his hair is coming in reddish brown. He is so handsome! We are so thankful to have him as part of our family. He is a true joy and a blessing!!!
