Roosevelt Lake 2006

This past week was our annual trip to Roosevelt Lake. We rent houses in the SRP housing facilities near the dam. We spent the week with Grandpa John and Grandma Linda and the entire Richardson family! The only person we missed this year was my sister Jennifer, who is currently serving a church mission in Salt Lake City. Just down a short trail from the houses is a private little cove where we park our boat, jet skis and water toys. We have such a blast spending the days waterskiing, tubing, and swimming. The evenings are just as fun, playing Bocci Ball (lawn bowling)! This was Jacy's 2nd year at Roosevelt, but the first year she was able to enjoy the water-and she did! She got a new bikini and her own little life vest for going out in the boat. This year we also brought an inflatable pool for the kids to play in, in the backyard (The trail to the water is steep and rocky, not easy with kids) and they LOVED it! Jacy also got her finger and toe nails painted for the first time! All the Granddaughters got their nails painted, thanks to Grandma Linda! Jacy had a great time with all her cousins... Connor, Rylee, Tatum, JT and Avery!

Other exciting news from Roosevelt... Jacy got tooth #7! One of her molars came in. AND... Jay has been involved in a 3 week long interview process for a position as a lineman apprentice for SRP. It included a difficult 3 day climbing class where he leaned how to climb power poles! There were approximately 55 applicants that were narrowed down to 24, and out of those 12 would get an apprenticeship position. He got the call on Wednesday-HE GOT ONE OF THE POSITIONS!!!! We works very hard and we are so proud of him!!!
