Family Weekend in July

July 22nd and 23rd we headed up North for a busy weekend with family. On Saturday night it was a pool party in St. Johns for Jacy's cousins, JT (2) and Avery (1). It was so much fun to hang out with the family!!! On Sunday morning we headed up to the St. Johns aiport so that Grandma John could show us his finished project! He has been building an ultralight trike to fly!!! He just got the wing and all the boys helped him put it on. He still has a bit more training before he can give us rides, but we can't wait! Late Sunday morning we were off to the area around Mexican Hay Lake, where we have a 1 mile section of Adopt-A-Highway that we maintain in honor of Grandpa Zeke's childhood friend Troy, who passed away a couple of years ago in that area. After the trash pick up we had a picnic and got to enjoy our beautiful surroundings. Next it was off to Grandma Debby and Grandpa Zekes house were the kids got to run in the clown sprinkler! Jacy's friend Brenna Harvey even came to play! The sprinkle is one that me and my brother used to play in when we were young... I can't believe it still works! Finally it was time to head back home-to the heat...Darn! I told you it was a busy weekend!!!

Jody, I just love seeing how big Jacy is getting. We really gotta get together some weekend. :)
As for the clown sprinkler....my grandparents had the same one for us when we were kids! Too funny.
