Ringing in 2009
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Every year we say, “Next year we aren’t going to be so lame… we are going to go out and celebrate!” Well… We are home…kids were asleep by 9:00pm and Jay is fighting to stay awake but probably won’t make it until mid-night…and to be honest, I think that it is a fine way to ring in the new year! I am so thankful for my family and I cherish every moment I have with them!
I have spent a lot of time looking at last years New Year’s resolutions (some I conquered and some I didn’t) and thinking about what I want to work on for this next year. 2008 was a challenging year for us. There wasn’t any tragedy or major event, but a lot of little adjustments and changes that weighed on us. I usually have a pretty good handle on things and this year I just didn’t. In fact, let me apologize quickly for all of those important birthdays and anniversary’s that I missed this year! I am disappointed that I allowed myself to become overwhelmed and loose control of my life… but I AM BACK in control! 2009 is a New Year with new challenges and goals. I have a renewed outlook on life! This is going to be a great year-I can feel it! We are grateful for all of you... you have enriched our lives! Thank you for all the love and support that you have shown to us throughout the years! We love you!
In 2009 I wish you…
Health so you may enjoy each day in comfort.

Our house at Midnight!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! None of us made it to midnight awake this year, which is just fine. We are all happy, healthy so what more can I ask for? :) Sounds like you had a great holiday. We did too. Check out our pics & blog on MySpace if you haven't already.

Hey Jody Merry Christmas! I found your blog through Kim Nevels, we are blogging too. karlajim.blogspot.com. So good to see your family, can't believe how big your little girl is, and you have a boy, time flies.
