Instead of coming home on Sunday, after a GREAT 4th of July weekend, me and the kids decided to send Jay home to go back to work and we stayed for most of the following week. The weather was so beautiful! It is always hard to leave during the summer (Who really wants to head back to the heat...not us!). On Monday afternoon several of my

old high school classmates came over with their kids. We had such a great time! The kids played in the kiddie pool and ran through the sprinkler and we got to sit around and chit chat and get all caught up! Some of us hadn't seen each other in years. It is always so much fun to get together! After everyone had left Jacy got to play dress up in her ladybug fair dress... but she didn't last long.

All that playing really tired her out. It was funny to watch her have to roll over to sleep because her wings kept getting in the way! On Tuesday it was another day of swimming at the Show Low Aquatic Center with my friends

Becky and Monica and their kids. SO FUN! Thanks for the invite girls! On Wednesday we headed out to Pardner and Grandma Greta's house in Pinetop. Zeke was helping Grandma get her HIGH SPEED internet hooked up-way to go Grandma! Jake and Jacy were very excited to help and it was fun to watch Jake use a screw driver for the first time, and correctly I might add! On Thursday morning it was time to pack

up and head home, but not before Jacy and Grandpa Zeke painted their birdhouses! We are excited to go and see if ay birds have moved into Grandpa's house! We really enjoyed our week there. We got to take evening walks to the park, and even ran into more friends that I hadn't seen since high school. It is always nice to get to spend time with Grandpa Zeke and Grandma Debby too. Thanks for having us! We hope to come back soon!
