North Cascade National Park

We did another 12 hour day in the car, going from Mead to Bellingham, Washington.  We had some fun sightseeing along the way, including a stop at the Grand Coulee Dam and eating some sweet treats in the cute town of Winthrop. The highlight of the drive was a GORGEOUS drive through North Cascade National Park. 😍😍😍 The scenery was so incredibly beautiful! We enjoyed several stops and short hikes to overlooks and even splashed in the cold waters of Diablo Lake.  The only disappointment was that we missed the visitors center by 1 hour, so no stamps for our National Park books.  It was all topped off with a stunning sunset coming into Bellingham. Nature is amazing!

We made it safe and sound to our hotel for the night. They know about the dog, but we may or may not have had to smuggle in 2 of the children and the lizard. 🤫 We are anxious for a good nights rest so we can be ready for the Ferry tomorrow!
